UT Drupal Kit 3.0.0-RC.2 release notes

Note

This is a pre-release for the next major version of the UT Drupal Kit. Release candidates are good testing targets for developers and site builders who are comfortable reporting (and where possible, fixing) their own bugs. Release candidates are not recommended for non-technical users, nor for production websites.

Release summary 

The 3.0.0-RC.2 release consists solely of a Drupal core security update for SA-CORE-2021-002, resolved by updating to Drupal 9.1.7. This release arrives on the same day as 3.0.0-RC.1, which includes changes to the functionality and architecture of the UT Drupal Kit (see below).

Update actions for existing sites 

If you are updating from beta.10.2 or earlier, start by reading the UT Drupal Kit 3.0.0-RC.1 release notes, which include specific actions maintainers of existing sites must take.
